Paula is an islander through and through, hailing from Campbell River. She moved to Victoria in 2001 to pursue a career in Broadcast Journalism and is currently in the Applied Communication Program at Camosun College. She is thrilled that she is finally getting paid to talk! With an unnatural love for sports, mostly the watching-type, the anchor desk at TSN awaits!

Matt grew up in the small hamlet of Saanichton after moving there from Vancouver in 1990. Matt’s currently enrolled in the Applied Communication Program at Camosun, aiming towards a career in radio or television. Matt, an avid musician, has been playing the clarinet for nine years, and the piano for four. When he’s not practicing music feverishly, Matt enjoys playing sports, and the great outdoors this island has to offer (ask him about his new tent!

Comunity Events/Saturday Afternoon
Matt Orlesky is a student of the Applied Communication Program and a Victoria native. After enjoying 22 years of life on the island, he has developed a passion for trees, sunshine and music of practically every kind. His wide range of influences and interests led him to pursue the communications and media fields in September 2006 after studying many other subjects. After surviving the seemingly never-ending winter, he plans to spend this summer at Village 900 discovering all that the world of music has to offer and honing his craft by bringing the listener fresh and interesting perspectives on local events and people as well as global ones.

 Taylor Martin
Village 900 Afternoon Show
Taylor comes from the sleepy town of Powell River. He enjoys bareback horse riding, starting congo lines, sleeping with his eyes open and occasionally recording music (often all at the same time). He is a Leo, roaaaar!
